The First Data LinkPoint is the power behind the LinkPoint Internet product suite. The LSPG securely enables retail, mail order, telephone order, and e-commerce payment. The Gateway receives payment information from the merchant (or from the consumer via the merchant’s Web site) and communicates with the banking network to process the payment. funds are automatically queued for deposit into the merchant’s account.

LinkPoint Shopping Carts offer merchants a simplified way to build e-commerce Web sites complete with a full product catalog to order from. These shopping cart vendors offer merchants an automated capability that tracks items ordered on the Web site, calculates the order totals, and sends the transaction to the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway for processing. Over 100 shopping cart vendors have integrated their cart with the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway (LSPG), and more than 45 are certified by LinkPoint engineers to be fully integrated with the LSPG.
